Financials
Half the Sky is proud of what we are able to accomplish for China’s orphaned children within a tight budget. Despite limited resources, we employ more than1000 local workers around the country!
We have taken great care to ensure our administrative costs are minimized by maintaining all of our non-fundraising operations in China where costs are still relatively low.
We work to use every dollar you contribute as efficiently as possible. If you'd like to read what independent charity monitoring organizations say about Half the Sky’s financial management, just follow the links below.

HTS IS A 4-STAR CHARITY YET AGAIN!
In these days when it's no small decision to make a charitable gift, we hope it's a comfort to know that, for 3 years in a row, HTS has earned the top honor from America's largest independent evaluator of charities. Charity Navigator says, " Receiving 4 out of a possible 4 stars indicates that your organization excels, as compared to other charities in America, in successfully managing the finances of your organization in an efficient and effective manner. This consistency in your rating is an exceptional feat, especially given the economic challenges many charities have had to face in the last year."
